Cabin Fever

Boy, what a day! Busy! Busy! Busy! This my 9th straight day of being housebound because of the Coronavirus. I'm not complaining though. I think it's the best thing all of us can do to help slow the virus down a bit. I had been in the house for 4 days when Illinois Governor Pritzker issued an order that we all stay at home from March 21 at 5:00pm until April 7th. As you can see I have made pretty good use of my time. Justin Fletcher, my grandson, and I have been putting together this new website site in our spare time. When not working on the website, I have been writing on a couple or three books. One is my third book in my Deuce Ryker Mystery Series, Deadly Treasures. I have been doing some editing and getting it prepared for the printer. Another book I have worked on since the lock up is the book Terry L. Castleman and I are writing and compiling together, Cop Stuff, about the misdeeds of Criminals and the funny deeds of police officers who come in contact with them. In writing this book we have invited all law enforcement officers, state troopers, sheriff's deputies, border patrol, FBI, DEA, CIA, and all secret agents to share their funny and strange stories with us for the book. So let's get going. Send any stories you have to me at jimconover@itv-3.com. Each submitting person will get his own chapter for each story submitted with his name and his department listed as submitter and an autographed copy of the book when it is published. (use real names for officers and fake names for suspects ...gotta protect the guilty) Another book I've been working on lately is The Conover Cook Book made up of old and new Family Recipes. So you see, staying indoors is not really challenging for me. I'm used to it.
